On July 29th, Zhenjiang Science and Technology Bureau and Jiangsu University jointly held the “Matchmaking Activity for Key Enterprises of Aerospace Industry Chain Entering Jiangsu University”. Mr. Xiao Jingdong, director of Zhenjiang Science and Technology Bureau, Mr. Xiao Chenfan, deputy director of Zhenjiang Science and Technology Bureau, Mr. Ren Xudong, vice president of Jiangsu University, Mr. Zhang Zhongqiang, dean of School of Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Zhu Jun, deputy director of University-Industry-Research Cooperation Office, Ms. Ye Yunxia, vice dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, representatives of teachers of the School of Mechanical Engineering and the School of Materials and other colleges, persons in charge of the science and technology departments of Zhenjiang subordinate municipalities and persons in charge of more than 20 key enterprises were present at the activity. The event was hosted by Zhang Zhongqiang, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangsu University.

Ren Xudong delivered a welcome speech on behalf of Jiangsu University. Ren Xudong briefly introduced the development of the disciplines of Jiangsu University, University-Industry-Research cooperation, fully recognized the significance of this activity to promote in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises, said that the school will further deepen the University-Enterprise University-Industry-Research cooperation, to build a new situation of win-win cooperation of the “enterprise question, the school answer the question, the market check the question”.

In the activity, Zhenjiang City aerospace industry chain key enterprises first visited the laser advanced manufacturing laboratory and flexible electronics laboratory, to understand Jiangsu University in the aerospace industry in the progress of scientific research and transformation of achievements.

After the visit to the laboratory, Xiao Chenfan introduced the development of aerospace industry in Zhenjiang City and the situation of scientific and technological innovation. Ye Yunxia introduced the scientific research achievements of the School of Mechanical Engineering to relevant enterprises, and Zhang Kan introduced the scientific research achievements of the School of Materials to relevant enterprises. Ltd., Aerospace Seahawk (Zhenjiang) Special Materials Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Seifu Aeronautical Science and Technology Co. In the docking exchange session, the participating teachers and enterprise leaders carried out on-site docking negotiation, more than 10 enterprises and the expert team reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
